Every show is an opportunity for some kind of collective conversion. A show is a sequence of events and experiences designed to win the undivided attention of an audience. Whether for the sake of amusement or for transformation, the ultimate goal of any show is to turn passive spectators into active participants; to break the isolating fourth wall and to make us once again aware of the valuable benefits that accrue to us when we reframe ourselves as a collective.

A show needn't be theatrical, though depending on the size of your audience, you will find some measure of theatricality to be highly useful. A show does however need to have a theme and a means provided for exploring that theme, and this means must allow for multiple modes of individual interpretation and participation. An experienced storyteller knows that he must apply taste and style to the task so that collective conversion can be made real.
